Spring 2021 Fanimal Interns

Analeah Vannavong

Analeah Vannavong is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington majoring in English with a concentration in Professional Writing and minoring in Creative Writing. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, writing, and visiting the beach in her free time. Analeah has had a passion for nature and animals since her youth and is especially interested in animal rehabilitation and conservation. Though her career path is grounded in the arts, she is looking to incorporate her love for animals into her own work and is very excited to learn more about animal advocacy and to be a fellow to animals.

Clara Battle

Clara Battle is a junior at Marymount Manhattan College located in Manhattan NYC. She’s majoring in cinema television and emerging media with a double major in digital media and video production with a minor in environmental studies. Clara first found a love for animals while living as a child in San Jose CA and swimming. Her interests include photography, singing, dancing, and wildlife conservation. During this internship, she hopes to get more cinematography practice and filming techniques to help her achieve her goal of becoming a wildlife cinematographer for the BBC.

Lily Collins

Lily Collins is a sophomore at Eckerd College majoring in Animal Studies with minors in Biology and Psychology. She grew up in a suburb close to Chicago, Illinois. She is very passionate about animals with an interest in marine mammals. Her love for animals and the marine environment grew from learning how to scuba dive at 11 years old and diving in different locations. She aims to work in animal rehabilitation, conversation or rescue while also doing research. She is very excited to intern with Fanimal and can’t wait to see what this internship will bring!
