#FANIMALRESCUE MONTH

APRIL 1-30, 2021

In April of last year during Fanimal Rescue Month, we recognized the hard work of wildlife sanctuaries, sharing their stories and sparking conversation about the challenges sanctuaries have faced (especially during the pandemic). At Fanimal, we believe in connecting animal lovers and celebrating the good work of animal organizations that are improving the lives of animals.

For our 2021 edition of Fanimal Rescue Month, we want to hear rescue stories from all types of animal “rescue” organizations –  terrestrial and aquatic wildlife sanctuaries, farmed animal refuges, and companion animal rescues. Entry is simple and you could win up to $100 for your organization.

To Enter:

Post a picture of a rescue animal or animal-related moment with the hashtag #FanimalRescueMonth and a caption or story. This can be related to operations, animals, the impact of COVID-19, emerging issues, etc.

Rack up likes and comments on your post by sharing it with your network – the 3 organizations with the most likes/comments/shares on a post at the end of April will receive a $100 donation to their organization. (note: every like = 1 pt, comment = 1pt, share/retweet = 1pt).

Post a picture of a rescue animal or animal-related moment with a caption or story and use the hashtag #FanimalRescueMonth and #BeAFanimal as well as tag Fanimal in the picture. This can be related to operations, animals, the impact of COVID-19, emerging issues, or just a great rescue story.

Rack up likes and comments on your post by sharing it with your network – the top 3 organizations with the most likes/comments/shares on a post at the end of April will receive a donation to their organization. (note: every like = 1 pt, comment = 1pt, share/retweet = 1pt).

Winners will be selected based on the total amount of likes as of midnight on May 1st, with the winner receiving a $100 donation and two additional organizations receiving $50. See below for official rules, and we hope you’ll join us in celebrating and learning about rescue animals this month.
