Fanimal has a number of ways to help people lead a more animal-focused life, including our mentorship and professional development programs.  We help individuals find meaningful work in animal-focused and environmentally-focused careers!

Junior Fanimal

Junior Fanimal is a badge program for animal fans ages 7-12 where they can earn badges for completing various animal-related activities. Badges can be traded in for cool prizes. The Junior Fanimal program is now offered on-demand (coming summer 2022) and in classroom and after-school settings!

Animal Chat Time with Nora!

Animal Chat Time is a series launched during April 2020 when kids were staying home from school and parents were in need of educational, entertaining activities. Nora Livingstone brings her supreme animal knowledge and upbeat self each week to create big animal fun!

Internships

We want you! If you want to explore meaningful work in animal or environmental advocacy, studies, ethics, policy, law, or science, come intern with us! We can help you hone your interests and practice professional skills.

Fellowship Programs

Our Fellowship Programs allow animal lovers like you to explore animal-focused careers. We have two types of fellowships to fit the needs of your career stage!

Pop Up Fanimal

Pop up stores...Pop up restaurants...and now, Pop up Fanimal! In 2021, we will be hosting our pop up workshops in various locations around the U.S. and beyond where you can learn more about animals in tourism, creating habitat for wildlife, how to live more plant-based, and a slew of other animal-related topics.

Fanimals in the Arts

The arts, in its many forms, serve a critical role in raising awareness of animal-related issues. Placing animal stories at the forefront of artistic expression can help creators and audiences amplify the emotional connection we all share for other living creatures.

The mission of Fanimal is to provide a space for personal and professional development in a variety of animal and environmental related fields. We foster community, facilitate discovery, and accelerate career building for people who love animals. We aim to multiply our positive impact for animals by focusing on the development of animal allies, academics, advocates, and activists.
