Lily Collins
Lily currently attends Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. She is majoring in Animals Studies and minoring in Biology and Psychology. Lily was an intern in Spring 2020 and in addition to the projects below, she enjoyed working with the DEI committee. Lily loved her experience so she continues to work with Fanimal as a member on the Advisory Council.
Lily is interested in working with marine mammals, specifically dolphins, in the areas of research, rescue/rehab, and conservation. She is involved in two research labs on campus where she is excited to keep learning. She is currently working on her own research project looking at social and object tactile communication behaviors with rough toothed dolphins at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Lily’s other favorite animals include turtles and penguins.
