Courtney Cryan
Courtney Cryan attended Eckerd College where she majored in Animal Studies; she minored in Biology and Leadership Studies. Her studies have an emphasis in Biodiversity, Plastics, Marine Mammals, & Animal Behavior. Courtney was an intern during Summer 2020 and in addition to the projects below, she worked on content creation, conducting interviews, and creating the Fanimals Awards program.
Courtney is interested in passive data collection research involving both marine and terrestrial mammals, the conservation of different species, and the concept of one health: the connection between the animals, humans, and the environment. In the future, Courtney has hopes to pursue higher degrees in Wildlife Biology and a career in wildlife research in the name of conservation.
