Are you interested in working with a socially-minded organization focused on the wellbeing of animals and the environment? Fanimal is seeking interns to help carry out the organization’s mission of connecting people who love animals with the information and action steps they need to lead animal-centered lives!
Internship requirements include a passion for animals and a desire to improve their lives, discipline to motivate and direct oneself, interest in learning new things and developing new skills, strong oral and written communication, working knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft Office, attention to detail and a willingness to adapt to dynamic tasks. You must be able to meet once/week with the intern cohort.
Responsibilities may extend to researching and writing content on a variety of animal or environmental related issues, creating and editing video content, partnership development, community outreach, public relations communication, marketing, and social media management, assistance with online event coordination and planning, photography and videography opportunities, and other tasks relevant to the needs of Fanimal at that time.
College majors seeking internships in the following disciplines should apply: communications, public relations, marketing, management, tourism, animal studies, environmental studies, sustainable development/ studies, wildlife conservation, environmental communication, environmental science, policy and pre-law, zoology, or journalism. Internships are unpaid but interns are able to work remotely.
